What Alicante is teaching our visitors, and us

·

Erasmus+ KA122

This week we are hosting a wonderful group from Association Aries in Plovdiv and Varna. For most of them, it is their first time in Alicante.

As hosts, we get a gift too: we see our own city through fresh eyes. Our guests notice what we often walk past, like a square full of neighbours on a weekday evening, a well-kept park bench, or a street where people simply stop to talk. Each of these sparks a question: how could this work back home?

The group is turning those questions into plans. They are mapping who can help solve local problems, from the district office all the way to Brussels, and shaping their own community initiatives to take home.

Thank you, Aries, for your energy, curiosity and great company. Half the week is done, and there is much more to come!
