New European Partnership Established Through Erasmus+ Mobility Activities

·

International cooperation continues to create new opportunities for meaningful collaboration across Europe. During the Erasmus+ mobility project “Building Bridges: Strengthening International Capacity, Developing Key Competences, and Promoting Inclusion Through Erasmus+” (2025-1-BG01-KA122-ADU-000323675), held in Komotini, Greece, a new partnership was established between organisations from Bulgaria and Spain committed to promoting inclusion, active citizenship, and civic participation.

The cooperation emerged through the exchange of experience and good practices during the mobility activities, where participants explored approaches to community engagement, inclusion, and European cooperation. Recognising shared priorities and complementary expertise, Mrs. Violeta Paskaleva, President of Asociación Europea Equalis, and Mr. Dobromir Trifonov, Chairman of Association Aries, signed a Partnership Memorandum establishing a framework for long-term collaboration.

The partnership has already produced concrete results. Both organisations have started working on the preparation of a proposal under the Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values (CERV) Programme, focused on strengthening civic participation and supporting more gender-balanced participation in decision-making processes at local level. In parallel, discussions have begun regarding future Erasmus+ mobility initiatives that will further contribute to inclusion, active citizenship, and European cooperation.

This achievement demonstrates one of the key strengths of Erasmus+ mobility projects: their ability to create lasting connections that continue well beyond the duration of the training activities themselves. By bringing together organisations from different countries, mobility projects create opportunities not only for learning, but also for building trust, exchanging expertise, and developing future initiatives that address common European challenges.

The newly established cooperation marks the beginning of a long-term partnership aimed at creating innovative European projects and generating positive impact for communities across Europe.
