Asociación Europea Equalis is a non-profit organisation based in Alicante, Spain, founded in December 2025 with the mission of promoting positive social, cultural, civic, educational, and environmental change through cooperation, participation, and inclusive learning.
The organisation was established by three friends from different professional backgrounds who shared the same belief that education, active participation, and collaboration are among the strongest foundations for long-term improvement in society. Bringing together experience from the creative sector, European cooperation and policy development, and inclusive education, the founders created Equalis as a platform for initiatives that encourage inclusion, sustainability, democratic engagement, and community empowerment.
Equalis works across areas connected to civic participation, equality and diversity, environmental awareness, culture, education, digital accessibility, and social innovation. The organisation believes that stronger communities are built when people are given meaningful opportunities to learn, participate, exchange ideas, and contribute to positive transformation within society.
Environmental responsibility is also an important part of the organisation’s vision. Equalis supports initiatives that promote sustainable thinking, greener practices, responsible cultural activities, and greater public awareness around environmental challenges and climate responsibility.
The organisation aims to build partnerships across Europe and contribute to projects and initiatives under programmes such as Erasmus+, CERV, and other European cooperation frameworks. Through education, dialogue, creativity, and collaboration, Equalis seeks to support more inclusive, sustainable, and socially engaged communities.
